It’s true! With a cutting machine, you can cut over 100+ different types of materials. Fabric, cardstock, vinyl, faux leather, thin metals, and so much more! Imagine the possibilities when you can cut with precision any material that you are working with.
A cutting machine saves time by doing the hard work for you. This leaves you with the more appealing aspects of crafting. Not to mention you don’t have to worry about messing up a cut.

Simply get the materials which cost loads less than a finished product and simply make what you need by yourself! Besides the sense of accomplishment you’re not going to spend as much.
Would you rather buy a 30 dollar t-shirt with a logo? Or would you rather buy 7 dollars worth of vinyl and iron it onto a 3 dollar blank t-shirt? The choice is clear to me!

So you have got it in your head that a cutting machine is way too expensive. I say remove those negative thoughts, because you can earn back what you pay for a cutting machine in no time! Let’s say you shell out a couple hundred dollars on a cutting machine, but you are able to make hundreds of projects with it.
Let’s say you sell most of those projects or use them each and every day to wear, look at, or enjoy. I’d say that’s money well spent! As long as your cutting machine is alive and well you are going to be able to continue making things with it and thus getting a return on your investment!

With the Cricut Design Space you can create custom works of art to make with your cutting machine all for free. You can even upload custom SVG files that you make or purchase online if you wish. Talk about endless possbilities!
6. You Can Customize Everything
You can decorate, create, and customize tons of projects with a cutting machine. All you need to start customizing are some blank items! T-shirts, plates, mugs, tumblers, shoes, and picture frames. There is an endless amount of things you can do! Get creative!
7. Cutting Machines Do More Than Cut
If you purchase the Cricut Explore Air you will find out quickly that you can do more with it than simply cut. You can even use a pen attachment that will actually write out flawless text in any font you like! You can even swap out your cutting blades for specific projects.
I really love the handwriting feature because my handwriting is terrible! I can write custom notes and even letters using beautiful font and styles.

I have seriously been considering purchasing one as of late… We spend a lot of money on things like dog bandannas that I could easily make at home – Plus, I wouldn’t have to search for the ‘perfect bandanna’ for certain holidays. I could just make one that fits exactly what I want! I think I’ve ALMOST sold my husband on it lol
