What You Will Need To Get Started
First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Sinful Oreo Dirty Brownies recipe only calls for a few ingredients and only a couple of kitchen supplies. I have listed them below.
- Glass Bowl
- 8 Inch Cake Pan
- Measuring Cup
- 1 Pack of Oreo cookies
- A Stick of Salted Butter (Unsalted If You Prefer)
- 1 Pack of Pillsbury Place And Bake Chocolate Fudge Brownies
- Chocolate Syrup
- (Optional) 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Remove Cream From Your Oreos
What?! Are you crazy?!
Yes, at least that is how i do it. I feel like it makes the crust more…crusty? It’s what makes the Dirty Brownies recipe extra dirty! Crush up your separated cookies. I would say about 20 cookies is sufficient. Put those cookies in your glass bowl.
Add Butter
Melt 1 cup of salted butter in your microwave and pour it over your Oreo cookies. This will moisten them well, and you can begin to smash them together. I personally pulverized mine with a potato smasher. You can get in there with your hands if you like! Whatever works!
If you want a little extra flavor, add 1 teaspoon of real vanilla extract to your cookie and butter mixture.
Press Mixture Into 8 Inch Cake Pan
Simply press your Oreo and butter mixture flat until the entire bottom of your pan is coated. This will act as your crust.
Layer Your Pillsbury Place and Bake Brownies
Space your brownies about half an inch apart evenly around the entire pan. You should have plenty of room. Make sure you put them around the entire edge and a few in the middle so they can all expand properly.
Place Cake Pan In The Oven
Place your cake pan in the preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit with your Oreo crust and brownies layer completed. Leave your brownies in the oven for 20 – 22 minutes.
You can check your brownies with a toothpick in the center to see if they are still gooey or not.
Once they are done, you can drizzle chocolate syrup over them. Sit them on a cooling rack or on the counter to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving, or longer if you like your brownies much cooler.
Serve and Enjoy!
I cut my brownies into pie slices and served them that way. Each pan should serve 8 – 10 people depending on how you portion out your slices that is. You can serve it with a dollop of chocolate ice cream for an extra delicious treat!
