This is a super simple, but ultra fun activity to try for the holidays. Find your favorite salt dough recipe online or from family and start baking!
You can easily do children’s handprints, foot prints, or other creative shapes that make lasting memories.

3. Decorate Sugar Cookies
Sugar cookies are SO easy to make and are so very delicious. Not to mention the beautiful blank canvas of a sugar cookie can be decorated into any holiday design.

4. Check Out Christmas Lights
This particular fun Christmas activity has been one of my favorites for my whole life. I enjoy riding around and looking at beautiful Christmas lights.
Sometimes you can even find local events near you where you can drive or walk around a large display. Check your local listings to see if you have a great Christmas light viewing to see nearby!
5. Decorate A Tree
Naturally one of the best things to do during the holidays is decorate the tree! Make your own ornaments or pick out some you really love online. Make your tree really sparkle!
You can even make a non-traditional tree from felt or other craft materials.

6. Make A Wreath
There are so many amazing ways to make a wreath. I have seen so many fantastic ideas this year. Making your own wreath comes with a great sense of satisfaction as well.
You could use ribbons, lights, flowers, garland, baubles, or anything else you like!

Eggnog is an underrated holiday drink that can be made so delicious. Nothing compares to homemade. Make your very own recipe or try one online.

I love these ideas! I’ve been making my own decorations for my tree this year, and I’ve also been for walks to look at the pretty lights! xx
I have been debating making salt ornaments with the pets this year so that I can hang all of their paw prints on the tree. I love the idea that we would have that moving forward, a memory to hold onto even after we have to say goodbye to them. Especially considering that our pets are starting to get older.
I remember making salt dough Christmas tree ornaments as a child and it was so fun! I can’t wait to make some with my niece and nephews!
